What is it?

The ESP32 Walkie-Talkie Speaker is a compact, USB-powered wireless receiver designed as a companion speaker for the DSTIKE ESP32 Walkie-Talkie.

It receives voice transmissions from a compatible ESP32 Walkie-Talkie and plays them through a clear 4Ω/3W speaker. It is ideal for situations where you need a fixed listening point or louder audio but do not need two-way communication.

Please note that this is a receive-only device. It cannot transmit voice.

Channel Selection

The speaker supports the same 10 preset channels as the compatible ESP32 Walkie-Talkie.

A recessed channel button is located behind a small access hole in the enclosure. Gently press the button using a thin pin or similar tool to change the channel. The speaker and transmitting walkie-talkie must be set to the same channel.

Open-Source and Maker-Friendly

This product can also be used as an ESP32 development platform. The schematic and source code are open source, allowing makers and developers to modify the firmware, customize the channel system, change the LED behavior, experiment with audio processing, or develop new wireless receiver applications.

Important Compatibility Information

This product is designed for compatible DSTIKE ESP32 Walkie-Talkies using the same firmware, communication protocol, and channel setting.

It is not compatible with conventional analog walkie-talkies, commercial two-way radios, or other radio systems unless the hardware and firmware are modified by the user.

Actual reception distance depends on obstacles, interference, antenna orientation, USB power quality, and the surrounding environment. The stated 150-meter range was measured under open and relatively unobstructed conditions.

Because the enclosure is 3D printed, minor layer lines and small surface variations are normal and do not affect operation.
