Dual-Band ESP32-C5 Wi-Fi Assessment Watch
A portable, open-source development device designed for makers, developers, and authorized wireless network testing. It features dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz support, a 1.54-inch IPS color display, Wi-Fi 6 capability, a 700mAh battery, and clear RGB status feedback.
What Is It?
The DSTIKE Deauther32 Watch MINI is a new generation of the Deauther Watch platform, upgraded from the ESP8266 to the Espressif ESP32-C5 RISC-V microcontroller.
The new hardware supports wireless scanning and controlled assessment on compatible 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. A 1.54-inch IPS color display provides a clearer interface, while the integrated RGB LED makes the current operating status easy to identify.
The device is intended for open-source development, wireless technology education, network diagnostics, and authorized security assessment.
Why Did We Make It?
Modern wireless environments increasingly use both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Earlier ESP8266-based devices were limited to 2.4 GHz, making them less suitable for studying current dual-band network environments.
By using the ESP32-C5, the Watch MINI provides dual-band connectivity and Wi-Fi 6 support in a compact, wearable format. It gives makers and developers a portable platform for learning about wireless communication, testing their own equipment, and developing customized firmware.
What Makes It Special?
- Dual-Band Capability: Supports scanning and controlled packet testing on compatible 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks.
-
Clear RGB Status Feedback: The integrated RGB LED provides real-time operating information without requiring constant screen checks:
- π΅ Blue: Scanning authorized networks
- π΄ Red: Test active β controlled assessment in progress
- π’ Green: Scan complete β ready for the next operation
- 1.54-Inch IPS Color Display: The redesigned color interface makes menus, network information, and test status easier to read.
- ESP32-C5 RISC-V Platform: Provides improved efficiency, dual-band wireless support, and Wi-Fi 6 capability for development and experimentation.
- Open-Source Firmware: Developers can inspect, modify, and extend the firmware for their own projects and authorized testing requirements.
