Flagship Dual-Chip Wireless Development and Assessment Platform
The DSTIKE Deauther32 Ultra is an advanced open-source development device designed for makers, developers, educators, and authorized wireless security researchers.
Its dual-controller architecture combines an ESP32-S3 and an ESP32-C5, providing dedicated hardware for independent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless assessment workflows. Two 1.54-inch color displays show information from each controller separately, while dual external antennas and three 18650 battery slots make the Ultra suitable for extended testing, development, and experimentation.
What Is It?
The Deauther32 Ultra is the flagship model in the DSTIKE Deauther32 family.
Unlike a conventional single-controller device, the Ultra uses two independent Espressif microcontrollers:
-
ESP32-S3: Dedicated to 2.4 GHz wireless scanning and assessment
-
ESP32-C5: Provides dual-band capability, including compatible 5 GHz networks and Wi-Fi 6 support
Each controller has its own 1.54-inch color display, allowing users to view separate scan results, network information, and operating status at the same time.
The Ultra is intended for open-source development, wireless technology education, network diagnostics, and controlled security assessment on authorized equipment.
Why Did We Make It?
Modern wireless environments commonly operate across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. A single-controller device must normally switch between tasks, interfaces, or frequency bands.
The Deauther32 Ultra was designed to provide a more flexible platform. Its dual-chip architecture allows the two controllers to operate independently, making it possible to study different wireless environments through separate interfaces.
We also wanted to provide a larger platform for developers who need:
-
Two independent color displays
-
Dedicated controllers for different wireless bands
-
Dual external antennas
-
Extended battery capacity
-
Independent firmware development
-
More physical controls and expansion possibilities
What Makes It Special?
-
Dual-Chip Architecture: Combines an ESP32-S3 and an ESP32-C5 in one development platform.
-
Independent Wireless Workflows: Designed to support separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz scanning and controlled assessment tasks.
-
Dual Color Displays: Two 1.54-inch displays provide independent visual feedback for each controller.
-
Dual External Antennas: Each radio section has access to an external antenna, providing greater flexibility when selecting antennas for an authorized testing environment.
-
Extended Power System: Three 18650 battery slots support longer operating periods than compact watch-style devices.
-
Reverse-Polarity Protection: The integrated protection circuit and LED warning help identify incorrectly inserted batteries.
-
Preloaded Firmware: The controllers are supplied with compatible Deauther32 firmware for initial setup and authorized testing.
-
Open-Source Platform: Developers can inspect, modify, and extend the firmware for their own research and hardware projects.
-
DIY and Assembled Options: Choose an assembly kit for hands-on building or an assembled version for a more convenient start.
How the Dual-Chip System Works
The two controllers operate as independent hardware platforms:
ESP32-S3 Section
The ESP32-S3 controller is dedicated to compatible 2.4 GHz wireless networks. It has its own display, controls, antenna connection, and firmware environment.
ESP32-C5 Section
The ESP32-C5 controller provides access to compatible 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks and includes Wi-Fi 6 capability. It also has its own display, controls, antenna connection, and firmware environment.
This arrangement allows developers to work with the two interfaces independently instead of repeatedly switching one controller between different tasks.
Available functions and simultaneous-operation behavior may depend on the installed firmware version.
